Guest Policies


 We ask that all guests have a credit card on file to book services at Studio Z Salon and Spa. This credit card will be securely encrypted and stored (tokenized) and will not be charged unless you cancel, reschedule, or no-show your appointment within our 24 hour cancellation period.

Cancellation & No-Shows

 To best accommodate all of our clients and to respect the time of our service providers we have a 24 hour cancelation policy. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please give us a call at 608-221-7888 a minimum of 24 hours prior to your appointment and one of our staff members will be happy to reschedule you at your convenience.

We understand that unplanned circumstances can occur, and you may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, but please understand that without giving us enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Cancellations, rescheduled, or no-show appointments within our 24 hours of your appointment time will result in a Cancellation/No-show fee of 50% of the original service/s booked and charged to the credit card on file. No charges to the card on file will be made if the appointment is rescheduled prior to the 24 hour cancellation period.

Services & Corrections

 We want you to be 100% satisfied with your service and will work with you to make sure you are taken care of to the best of our ability. Please notify Studio Z Salon within 5 days of your initial service if you are unsatisfied with the outcome. It may be something simple that can be remedied quickly. After management assessment and it’s deemed we’ve provided an unsatisfactory result, you may receive one additional service to fix any problems, with the same technician or a technician at the same level as your initial service, at no charge. If you choose to rebook your service with a higher level technician, after notifying us of the issue, you will be charged the difference in price if it is higher than your initial service cost. For color services, the result is best evaluated on fully dried and styled hair. If you elect to leave the salon before the styling is completed or if you decline any part of your service you relinquish any right to a correction for this color service.

Running Late

 If you’re more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may not be able to provide the service for which you have been scheduled and may need to modify or reschedule your appointment. If you’re running behind more than 10 minutes, please call us so we can best direct you on how to proceed.  Habitual late appointments may be cancelled by the salon and subject to the same Cancellation and No-Show fee and be charged 50% of your scheduled service.

Winter Weather

 Please be mindful of the travel time needed during the winter months and plan extra time during inclement/winter weather. When a statewide or county Weather/Snow Emergency is issued, we will waive the 24 hour cancelation fee of 50% of your services scheduled, if you’re unable to make it to your appointment on that day. However, if there is not a statewide or local declared Weather Emergency, the 24 hour cancelation policy will be enforced.


 At Studio Z Salon, we stand behind the professional products that we sell and recommend. Should you find dissatisfaction with products purchased at Studio Z Salon, we will gladly exchange the gently used product for another. All exchanges must be within 30 days. No refunds will be made for opened/used products. All sale, clearance, and special order sales are final sale.

Boutique items may be returned within 30 days in original condition with tags attached and we will issue you a refund you in the original form paid.

Gift Cards

As prices are subject to change, Studio Z Salon gift cards issued for a specific services are valid for one year after issue date. After that, the gift card is redeemable for the dollar value. Studio Z Salon is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards and cannot be reissued.


We love children and they are always welcome at our salon, but must be under the supervision of an adult not receiving services. A salon can be a dangerous place for unsupervised children due to chemicals, heated equipment and sharp instruments. We do not claim responsibility for accidents that might occur while your child is unattended. A quiet activity brought from home is recommended for all children as to not disrupt other services that are being performed.
