I love this place for my hair, nails and skin needs. My stylist Megan is amazing. Very reasonable prices. I always feel great when I leave Studio Z, looking a lot better than when I came in. I had a ManiPedi a few weeks ago with Nikki and that is still looking great! The owner is awesome as are the receptionists and really everyone you meet at Studio Z is very friendly. I highly recommend this place!

I absolutely love this salon! Carlina cuts and colors my hair and I adore her. My hair always looks great!! I also see Nikki for gel polish and I’ll never go anywhere else. Great conversation and my nails are always perfect and fun. :):):)

I have been going to Studio Z for over 15 years. All of the stylists at Studio Z have extensive training in styling and coloring. A day doesn’t go by that someone makes a favorable comment about my hair. I like a sassy hair style and dramatic color. I get it all at Studio Z Salon.

I have enjoyed most of the array of spa services Studio Z offers for the past 20 years or more. In my experience, Karen and her premiere staff of professionals never provides less then excellent results. From the warm reception upon arrival where they ensure the best service available, to Karen herself who takes personal interest in every facet of her business. For example, if ever I have had a scheduling conflict, every consideration is taken to ensure I am able to get in within a reasonably short time. The spa services are second to none, with the highest quality of expertise provided for each I feel I am a pretty tough customer, as a manager in another service industry I do understand the value of absolutely satisfying the customer. Every person I know personally that has been to Studio Z for one service or another has nothing but praise for their experience, as well. I highly recommend any of the services they provide.

I had to write this review to give KUDOS to Paula! I am someone who normally has straight fine hair but a lot of it. I have been getting perms for quite awhile and love the look and easy maintenance of my hair in a cute stacked bob. The past two perms I have received from Paula were simply awesome and people always approach me to tell me how much they love my naturally curly hair! 😉 Its been over 4 months and my hair still looks great! Don’t hesitate to see Paula for texture, she has a lot of experience and is super nice!

Studio Z provides an outstanding experience from the moment you walk in the door. I love the friendly and professional staff. It has that spa feel and the place is clean, clean, clean. There is a small boutique with fun and unique clothes and jewelry. I get compliments on the things I get there and never see them on someone else. The owners are present and they have created an atmosphere of excellence. Their leadership shows. The staff works as a team and maintains high quality standards. Nikki is an amazing nail technician…the best I have ever had! She does a wonderful job every single time. I highly recommend Studio Z!

Studio Z. What a place. I’ve been going there for nearly 5 years now, seeing Karen on a regular basis. She turned my box-colored, damaged, short hair into a healthy, natural looking mane, that people often stop me and say, you have beautiful hair. Seriously. I’ve also had massages there and the therapists there are top-notch, thoroughly professional, and most importantly, experts at listening to me, where my aches and pains are, and then instantly relieving them. Also, all the receptionist staff are extremely professional and welcoming. I will go no where else. Studio Z is the best salon in Madison. Hands down.

I just had my first experience with Studio Z Salon and I am in love!! I was referred to this place by a friend and it did not disappoint! First off, I must say how clean and cool the space is. It may not seem like it from the outside, but the inside really does feel like a trendy spa. I had a cut and color with Lindsay and I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy with my hair, like ever. Her experience and knowledge with color is beyond amazing…I seriously cannot say enough good things about her. I will definitely be going back and would highly recommend this place to anyone!

My party came here for wedding hair and make-up. This place is outstanding! Very accommodating, comfortable, and cool. They had infused water available and offered coffee while we hung out. They also set up a table for us to put our snacks on while we were there. One bridesmaid switched from a blowout to a formal style when we arrived, no problem! They also added clip in extensions to one bridesmaid on the spot. Carisa did my bridal updo and it was PHENOMENAL! I can’t say enough good things about this place and especially about her. Kind, caring, accommodating and FUN!
